Three Killed After SUV Slams Into Tree In Hamden

Three people were killed early Sunday morning when an SUV slammed into a tree in Hamden, according to multiple reports.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 40 and Whitney Avenue at around 2:30 a.m., according to NBC Connecticut.

The identities of the three have not yet been announced and state police have not yet issued further details on the crash.
